Prince has always had a low interest in marketing his releases. Frequently he would give out an interview about his upcoming album or be in the Leno show the most. This in turn reflected on his sales. His fans have been saying all along that Prince must work more on his marketing and distribution networks – His music? Well, its just fine and getting more creative everyday.
Instead of working on his marketing, Prince started threatening with law suits any site that had his music, video or even a picture on them. This prompted the fan sites to create a new front to tackle his bulling instincts.
All his music and videos began to disappear from famous sites like youtube etc. While fans of other artists enjoyed their artists on these sites, Prince fans just hoped against hope that any of his material would surface on these sites.
His latest stupidity can be seen when he asked youtube to shut down his Lotusflow3r commercial from their site. It’s a commercial stupid! I believe that would increase your sales and put some money in your pocket. And you get to advertise for free! More money in your pocket!! What else do you want?

No reason to use that word. It doesn’t add to the blog or make you sound “hip” or “relevant.” If it’s a “political” statement – it doesn’t seem very effective. If it was for shock value – stop, because I’m assuming you’re no longer in middle school.
This man (prince ) is an idiot.wonder why anybody would still be intersted in his music.He took down all his videos even the Jay leno on NBC.He treat his fans like crap.Why do you guys stll buy his music or go to his shows? ?????????????????

@Bill – Its his music and he has the right to manage it. Obviously peopel like you dont buy his music and go to his shows, so look for his FREE stuff on the internet to download. A question for you- if you did not get his stuff on the internet, where would you go?
